Stagecraft: Acting Essentials
This class introduces participants to the fundamental principles of acting for the stage. This class is designed for individuals with little to no prior acting experience who are eager to explore the art of performance in a supportive environment.
Throughout the course, students will delve into essential acting techniques such as character development, vocal projection, physicality, and improvisation. Through a series of exercises, scene work, and monologue study, participants will learn how to analyze scripts, embody different characters, and convey emotions effectively on stage.
Emphasis is placed on building confidence, presence, and stage awareness through practical exercises and constructive feedback from experienced instructors. Whether you aspire to perform in plays, improve your public speaking skills, or simply explore the world of acting, this class will provide a solid foundation in theatrical techniques.
