All classes at DPAC offer multiclass discounts and sibling discounts.

Jr. Dance Team
Calling all dancers that love the thrill of performing and dance! This troupe is for YOU!
Much like our performance troupes, our dance troupe will spend the year learning a repertoire of dance to various genres of music to take to various events throughout the region to perform! This is for seasoned dancers that are ready to take it to the next level! Class will focus on technique as well as choreography.
Along with community performances throughout the year this class will perform during our Winter and Spring showcase! Students will also attend dance conventions and optional competitions.
Tuition- $105 monthly (July-May), $75 costume fee twice per year in August and February.

Ages 8-12
Class meets Thursdays from 5:30-7:30pm.
Class will be split into an hour of technique and an hour of choreography.

Applause
More than just singing group, this group is powerhouse performing troups combining high-energy movement with vocals and expressive vitality and performance. (Sorta like "Glee" but way more appropriate!) Applause!-Song and dance troupes for girls and guys. These are performance based classes and will be performing for school and community events as well as during our showcase in June. They are ongoing classes August-May.
Applause is a non audition performance troupe for elementary students .
ages 7-11.

Classes meet Tuesdays 5:00-6:00 pm beginning August 16th.
Tuition: ($680 annually broken into 10 payments of $68)
Costume Fee- Annual $75 costume (student keeps costume) charged in September.

Ballet
An intermediate/advaned level class designed to challenge and further develop the technique, artistry, and physical abilities of dedicated ballet students. This class builds upon the foundational skills established in previous levels, offering a more demanding and nuanced curriculum that delves deeper into the intricacies of classical ballet. Students will refine their technique, expand their vocabulary, and focus on strength, flexibility, and artistic expression. Through a combination of barre exercises, center work, adagio, allegro, and calssical variations, participants will advance their skills and stage presence perparing them for higher levels of ballet training. This class will perform in the winter and spring recitals.

Ages 8+ (This is a skill based class for intermediate/advanced students regardless of age)

Ballet I/II
A comprehensive class designed to establish a strong foundation in ballet technique while accommodating both beginner and intermediate level students. This class combines grace, discipline, and elegance of ballet with an emphasis on technical development, musicality, and artistic expression. Students will focus on solid ballet vocabulary and mastering fundamental ballet movements, positions, and terminology. Through structured exercises, barre work, center work, and across-the-floor combinations participants will develop strength, flexibility, coordination, and body awareness. This class also emphasizes proper alignment and posture to enchance the quality and precision of movement. This class will peform in the winter and spring recital.

Ages: 7+ (This is a skill based class and is where all beginner/intermediate students should be regardless of age)

Breakdance
An exciting and energetic class that introduces students to the findamentals of breakdancing, also known as b-boying or b-girling. Geared towards beginners, this class focuses on developing the core elements, techniques, and foundational movements that make up the dynamic and acrobatic art of breakdance. Students will learn the basics of breaking which includes, toprock, footwork, freezes, and power moves. Through guided instruction, practice drills, and creative sessions, participants will develop stength, agility, coordination, musicality, and self-expression within the vibrant breakdance culture. This class only performs at our Spring recital.

Contemporary/Lyrical Dance I

Drill Team Prep
A class specifically designed for teenagers who are aspiring to audition for their local high school dance companies. Geared towards building the skills and confidence necessary for successful auditions, this class focuses on refining technique, mastering performance elements, and developing the athleticism required for drill team dance. In the Drill Prep class, students will receive comprehensive training to enhance their dance abilities and prepare them for the rigorous demands of high school dance company auditions. Through targeted exercises, challenging routines, and performance coaching, participants will elevate their technique, stage presence, teamwork, and overall dance proficiency. This class will perform in a spring recital.

An intermediate-level class that builds upon the foundations established in Hop Hop I, taking your hip hop skills and artistry to the next level. Designed for students with prior hip hop experience or completion of Hip Hop I, this class delves deeper into technique, musicality, and the creative expression within the hip hop genre. This class will perform in a winter and spring recital.

Hip-Hop I
An energetic and dynamic class that introduces students to the vibrant world of hip hop dance. Geared towards beginners, this classes focuses on developing fundamental skills, musicality, and style within the hip hop genre. Participants will learn the foundations of hip hop movement, groove, and expression while embrasing the urban dance culture. This class will perform in the winter and spring recital.

Music Theatre Dance
An exhilarating class that immerses students in the world of Music Theatre and Broadway-style dance. Geared towards performers with a passion for musical theatre, this class focuses on developing the skills, technique, and artistry required to excel in dance within the context of Broadway productions. Students will explore various dance styles commonly found in musical theatre, including jazz, tap, and character dance. Through choreographed routines, character development exercises, and performance coaching, participants will enhance their dance abilities, stage presence, storytelling, and versatility as performers. This class will perform in Winter and Spring recitals.
Broadway Dance I- Ages 8-11: Wednesdays 6:30-7:30

The petite dance team is a group of young dancers who perform choreographed routines in various styles, such as jazz, ballet, hip-hop, or contemporary in performances around our community and our recitals! Comprising talented dancers with ages typically ranging from 5 to 8, they showcase their skills at events, competitions, and recitals, captivating audiences with their energy and enthusiasm. This team provides a supportive environment for young dancers to develop their abilities, foster teamwork, and express their passion for dance.

This is for seasoned dancers that are ready to take it to the next level! Class will focus on technique as well as choreography. This class meets twice a week for added instruction. Along with community performances throughout the year this class will perform during our Winter and Spring showcase!

Technique I
An introductory class focused on mastering fundamental dance skills. Through guided instruction, students will develop a strong foundation, learning core principles, techniques, and best practices. The class provides a supportive environment for honing abilities, fostering creativity, and enhancing overall proficiency. No experience required. Build confidence, skills, and prepare for further advancement in the technique. This class does not perform in the recitals.

Step into the enchanting world of Mowgli, Baloo, Bagheera, and other memorable characters from Disney’s “The Jungle Book” in this exciting musical theater class! Designed for aspiring young performers, this class offers a unique opportunity to combine acting, singing, and dancing while bringing this classic tale to life on stage.
